Neo-Nazi Member Gets 30 Years For Attack

Man Eluded Yolo County Authorities For 2 Years

KCRA News, California/September 12, 2008

Woodland, California - A 28-year-old man was sentenced Friday to 30 years in prison for assault, according to the Yolo County district attorney.

Michael Rose is accused of being part of a Neo-Nazi gang-motivated assault in Davis. He and another man, Christopher Vochatzer, are accused of injuring a man with a metal pipe and a baseball bat in April 2005.

Rose eluded authorities for almost two years, District Attorney Jeff W. Reisig said, but he was arrested in Montana last year.

He was convicted of multiple gang-related felony offenses in March.
