Neo-Nazi charged with inciting racial hatred remanded until September

Jewish News Online, UK/July 16, 2015

The white supremacist who instigated a series of “anti-Jewification” rallies in areas of London with large Jewish populations has been denied bail and remanded in custody until September.

Joshua Bonehill-Paine, 22, of Yeovil, has been charged with inciting racial hatred, after his arrest by Avon and Somerset Police earlier this month.

On Monday, he appeared in court representing himself, but the judge denied bail until his next court appearance on 21 September.

He has not yet entered a plea. Bonehill-Paine, a blogger often described as a neo-Nazi, trumpeted the far-right rally originally planned for Golders Green earlier this month, railing against the Shomrim volunteer force and detailing plans to burn a copy of the Torah in private.
