Re "Piecemakers Invoke a Higher Power in Fight With City," Dec. 29:
Addressing the question, "Is it right to pay taxes" to civil authorities, Jesus answered: "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's," that is, the taxes due him, "and to God what is God's."
Now, which do the Piecemakers honor more, God's word--or their $3-million-a-year [revenues]?
