Santa Cruz, Calif. -- Marcus Wesson, the man arrested in connection with nine killings in Fresno last week, married his wife in 1974 when he was 25 and she was just 15, Action News learned Tuesday.

Soon after, Elizabeth Solorio gave birth to two sons, Adrian and Dorian, who were not among those living at the Fresno house where the murders took place. Solorio also had another son and daughter by Wesson, Action News reported.

The Santa Cruz County coroner is working with the Fresno County Coroner to identify some of young victims who were born in Santa Cruz County and died in Fresno.

"We network with all agencies throughout the country and internationally when necessary ... so just a cooperative effort to help with a case that is extremely shocking and very upsetting to people," Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department spokesman Kim Allyn said.

Seven of Wesson's children were born in Santa Cruz County. It's believed three of them were among the victims in Fresno, along with one of the mothers.

Wesson was charged Tuesday with nine counts of murder and weapon charges, Fresno County prosecutors said. He is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday.
