'Are your kids alive?' Shocking moment cult mom Lori Vallow and her husband REFUSE to say where her missing children are after couple is tracked down in Hawaii - two months after they fled Idaho cops

Missing 'cult' mother Lori Vallow has been found in Hawaii along with her husband Chad Daybell months after her two children vanished and both their spouses died under mysterious circumstances.

Police in Kaua'i served Lori and Chad on Sunday with two search warrants related to the location of her missing children, seven-year-old Joshua 'J.J.' Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan.

The couple have been on the run for two months after abandoning their home in Rexburg, Idaho, when police came to question them about the children's whereabouts.

No arrest warrants have been issued for Lori or Chad, who relatives say are members of a dangerous doomsday cult.

The pair were seen for the first time since the children's disappearance captured nationwide attention in video recorded by the East Idaho News at the scene where police delivered the warrants on Sunday.

They stayed silent and kept walking as a reporter repeatedly asked them where the children are and if they are alive.

Lori only spoke once after the reporter said that people eastern Idaho and across the country are praying for J.J. and Tylee.

'That's great,' she replied.

Chad kept his mouth shut throughout the entire exchange, merely grimacing when the reporter mentioned his previous wife, who died two weeks before he married Lori.

Authorities say Chad and Lori have been hiding out in a gated community in Princeville, Hawaii.

They were stopped by police while driving a black Ford Explorer along the Kuhio Highway and pulled into the Kaua'i Beach Resort, where officers handed them a search warrant for their vehicle.

Lori was placed into one police vehicle and Chad into another as a tow truck came to seize their SUV.

Federal, Idaho and Hawaii officers then went to the couple's townhome in Princeville to execute a search warrant there.

Police declined to say what they were searching for or if any evidence was found.

Lori, dressed in a tank top, cropped leggings, sandals and sunglasses, was seen gathering belongings from her vehicle before it was towed, including a large amount of cash in a plastic bag.

The ongoing investigation is being led by the Rexburg Police Department with assistance from the Kaua'i Police Department.

J.J. and Tylee were last seen in Rexburg, Idaho, on September 23 but were never reported missing by their mother.

Authorities began searching for the children in late November after performing a welfare check ordered by concerned relatives who said they hadn't spoken to J.J., who is autistic, in months.

When officers first went to Lori's home in Idaho on November 26, she told them that J.J. was visiting relatives in Arizona - which investigators say was a lie.

Officers returned the following day and found that Lori and Chad - who tied the knot early that month - had fled from the home.

Authorities say the couple have repeatedly lied about where JJ and Tylee are and refused to cooperate with the investigation.

It has since emerged they had told people Tylee was dead and that Lori has no minor children.

Lori and Chad are considered persons of interest in the children's disappearance after investigators said they believe the mother knows where her children are or what happened to them.

The couple issued a statement after they went on the run insisting that they'd done nothing wrong.

Police have said there is reason to believe the children are in danger.

The search for J.J. and Tylee uncovered a web of mysterious deaths surrounding Lori and Chad that has baffled investigators for weeks.

The first death is that of Lori's estranged husband Charles Vallow, who was shot dead by her brother Alex Cox in Arizona on July 10.

Charles and Lori had gotten into an argument when the father came to pick up J.J. at the mother's home in Chandler.

Lori's brother intervened and fatally shot Charles.

Police initially determined that he acted in self defense - but the case was reopened amid the multi-state search for J.J. and Tylee, who had moved to Idaho, where Chad lived, with their mother in August.

The second mysterious death was Tammy Daybell - Chad's previous wife - who was found dead at the couple's home in Salem, Idaho, on October 19.

An obituary stated that Tammy passed away in her sleep and her cause of death was ruled as natural after Chad reportedly declined an autopsy.

Investigators reopened the case after learning that J.J. and Tylee were missing, as their mother had married Chad just two weeks after Tammy died. They believe the two cases could be linked.

Tammy's body was exhumed on December 11 and the autopsy results have not yet been released.

On December 12, Lori's brother, Alex Cox, was found dead in Gilbert, Arizona.

The 51-year-old's death is now under investigation as police wait for an autopsy to determine the cause.
