Neo-Nazi Bill White sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for threats against juror

Chicago - A federal judge has sentenced a white supremacist to 3 1/2 years in prison for soliciting violence against a juror.

U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman sentenced William A. White on Wednesday to 42 months in prison. White ran an extremist website. He was accused of posting the address, phone number and other personal details about a jury foreman in the trial of another white supremacist, Matthew Hale. The foreman's jury convicted Hale of soliciting the murder of a federal judge.

White is currently serving another 3 1/2-year sentence for threatening other victims and intimidating a witness in Virginia. He has about one month remaining of that sentence, which he will serve concurrently with his new sentence.

Prosecutors said White's threats struck at the heart of the U.S. justice system.
