Fugitive polygamist leader facing more charges

3TV has learned Monday that additional charges have been filed against fugitive polygamist prophet Warren Jeffs.

Jeffs already faces two criminal counts of sexual conduct with a minor and conspiracy to commit sexual conduct with a minor stemmming from a case in which he allegedly gave an underage girl to an already married adult male follower.

3TV has learned Jeffs now faces similar charges in at least two other incidents where he allegedly gave underage girls as "plural" brides to adult male followers, confirms Mohave County Attorney Matt Smith.

Jeffs is currently on the FBI's most wanted list and several law enforcement agencies throughout the country are searching for him.
