California psychic promised to ‘bless’ cash, ran off with $100Okay: cops

A California lady posed as a psychic and duped shoppers out of $100,000 by promising she might double their cash with a blessing, police mentioned.

The alleged rip-off landed Perlita Afancio-Balles, 29, on the Sacramento Police Division’s “most-wanted record” Tuesday.

Victims mentioned Afancio-Balles — who glided by the identify Eva Maria — advised them to depart their cash with her, with the promise she’d return the “blessed” money and that it could enhance twofold, the Sacramento Bee reported.

By the point they returned to the con-artist’s dwelling September 22, she’d run off with their cash, cops mentioned.

Afancio-Balles is needed for grand theft and theft by false pretenses.
